‘Glee’ Goes in to Sydication
Well, that took no time at all. Glee is already in talks to ink a very lucrative syndication deal…

Get ready for more ‘Glee’ and ‘Modern Family,’ as the freshman comedies are about to join the ranks of ‘Two and a Half Men’ and ‘The Big Bang Theory’ with lucrative cable syndication deals.
Producer 20th Century Fox TV is finalizing separate deals for the cable rights to both shows with Oxygen and the USA Network, reports Deadline.
Oxygen is reportedly paying six figures an episode to land Fox’s ‘Glee,’ plus the rights to air the planned reality series that will feature performers competing for a spot on the show’s upcoming second season. (Yep, that’s still happening!). Word is that Oxygen will take over the reality project from Fox and ‘Glee’ creator Ryan Murphy, who want to focus on developing the show’s second season.
The deal would also see Oxygen nabbing some additional ‘Glee’-related original programming and a station component, giving the growing ‘Glee’ brand another outlet on the tube.
USA, looking to expand its half-hour comedy holdings, is close to securing the rights to ABC’s ‘Modern Family,’ which it will most likely pair with ‘Driven,’ its new sitcom project from ‘Designing Women’ creator Linda Bloodworth and starring comedian Ron White.
Both deals have yet to be finalized, with the shows’ cable premiere dates still up in the air.

Er….. so its back on now?
