Mr. Shuester Is A Whore & My Thoughts on the Future of Wemma

I knew it!  I knew that the amazing Glee writers were totally going to turn Will Schuester into a man-whore!  I’ll give my thoughts at the end of this awesome article from E!’s Kristin DosSantos.

We hate to break it to you, but Glee has had us all fooled! If you’re still under the impression that Fox’s musical extravaganza is nothing more than fun-filled family entertainment, Jessalyn Gilsig (Terri) has some shocking news:

“Will is a whore.”

Come again? Yes, Jessalyn is seriously serious and tells us that when Glee returns in April, we’re going to see a less-than-flattering side of her former onscreen hubby. In fact, Mr. Schue (Matt Morrison) sounds downright dirty…

When asked which lucky lady Mr. Schue might be getting busy with, Jessalyn tells us, “Everybody.”

A ‘ho fo’ sho’! (But a damn fine one.)

Since Matt and Jessalyn just told us about their rebooted love triangle—or lack thereof—we grilled her on the important things, like where’s Terri’s new man?

“It’s all switching up,” Jessalyn says with a laugh. “Terri was supposed to be so awful. But Terri was driven by love, and it turns out that Will is a whore. Lets just say Terri was right.”

Right or not, Jessalyn teases that while Terri and Will are done for now, she’s by no means finished with Emma (Jayma Mays). “You know Terri, can’t keep her down! She’s going to make some trouble. It’s not over; it’s never over—especially with that redhead,” she laughs. “There’s just no way I’m letting her go. Terri’s going to stir this pot some more.”

However, let the record show that we suggested Terri hook up with the always amazing Neil Patrick Harris (Ryan Murphy, are you reading this?!), and Jessalyn is 100 percent on board. “Oh, I like that! But Terri will kiss anyone.” Fair enough.

But wait. Who was the whore again?

Various love shapes aside, one of the most exciting things we learned about Jessalyn is that she’s a singer, too (“I am now,” she smiles), and she’ll be dusting off the old windpipes in at least one of the upcoming episodes. Whoo-hoo!

“I’m gonna sing!” Gilsig gushes. We tried to get her to tell us what song she’ll be performing and with which castmembers, but it sounds like a solo number that’s not part of the Madonna episode. “I wish! Madonna didn’t greenlight me,” she jokes. “It is so unexpected that when Ryan told me, I was like ‘Yay, I’m singing,’ then he told [what song] and I was like ‘What?!’ It was one of the hardest songs I’ve ever sung.” Her number comes with dance moves, too!

Wait a minute…We got it! Is it “The Macarena”?! No?

An exception being Slutty Schuester, Jessalyn thinks the second half of Glee‘s first season is a time for new beginnings. “I’m calling this second chapter ‘Nothing Is As It Seems.’ I feel like we set everybody up, and everybody thinks they know who they are and now everyone is reversing on each other. It’s going to surprise fans.”

We all know I am a die-hard Wemma fan and it breaks my heart to think that Will is going to go off and sow some wild oats but I knew it was coming.  I mean come on now – he’s hot, he’s newly single, and he married his high school sweetheart which leads us to assume that he’s only ever kissed (or, you know) one woman.  The guy is only human.  So, when someone as stunning as Idina Menzel walks in the door he’s going to do a double take.

I am thinking there are a few scenarios…

1. Will & Emma will have a thing going on when the show starts back up.  They’ll make out, maybe even get busy but then Emma is going to freak out and put on the brakes (he is not even legally separated yet).  Enter this Shelby chick.  I have a feeling she’s going to be very forward and maybe hypnotize Will (while in his weakened state from the break with Emma) and take advantage of him.  He’ll oblige because he’s a horny-recently-separated-from-his-crazy-wife guy and all but then feel really bad and worry that Emma will find out.

We know that Terri and Will separate and she moves in with Kendra.  It sounds like there won’t be any reconciliation any time soon.  It does, however sound like there is going to be a good old-fashioned cat fight between Emma & Terri.  I’m feeling like that clip from the promo of Terri walking in on what they make to look like Will & Emma about to smooch is indeed the case and then they get in to some kind of fight.  That would be awesome.

2. Will & Emma do not hook up right away.  Emma puts the breaks on the whole thing and that leaves Will free to hook up with whomever he wants.  He hooks up with this Shelby chick and has a fling with her but then realizes he really wants Emma.  Terri isn’t really involved and cooks up some elaborate plan with Kendra to try to get Will back that is truly shocking.  I know something crazy is going on with those two from my chat with Jennifer Aspen, the actress that plays Kendra.

Emma soon realizes that she really loves Will (duh) and goes back to him only to find out that he hooked up with this Shelby chick and the whole drama plays out until the end of the season where they finally get together.

There are some holes to fill though – when they showed the promo only the first two episodes back were filmed, edited, and completed and the scenes of Will & Emma about to smooch and in the bedroom most likely happen within those 2 episodes.  The bedroom scene could very easily be a dream sequence (Glee writers are big on that).  But that almost smooch is something.  Also, as for what looks like Terri walking in on Will & Emma about to kiss, that could very well be the editing of the promo.  I really think that Will & Emma will be together at least for a little bit at the beginning of the back 9.

Unfortunately, I feel some major heartbreak coming to Emma, my favorite Gleek by far.  Either way this whole thing sucks for her.
